The Choir today

​

The choir, numbering about 30 voices grew in ability under the three Directors since inception.  The current Musical  Director, Trish Rogan,  is testing the choir’s musicianship with more complicated and modern pieces, whilst still retaining the traditional favourites of the audience.

 

Many compliments have been given to the choir after performances, both for the quality of the singing and the variety of pieces sung.  Trish has the ability to choose programmes  for all occasions,

 

We currently have a vacancy for a permanent accompanist. In the meantime we are delighted to have the services of our assistant accompanist Beth Worth, a valued member of our alto section.

 

WHERE WE REHEARSE

Rehearsals take place at The Coastal Zone, the old Methodist Church on Wednesday evenings between 7.30pm and 9.30pm.

Where we Perform

We sing throughout East and Mid Cornwall at a wide range of venues including formal concerts in churches, carol concerts at National Trust properties, charity events, the Eden Project, village halls and at weddings.
